In an effort to better know why Dave Loebsack voted present on this weeks HR 5818, Home Forelcousures Bill, I logged onto his website today to find out what was the deal. When going to his website I clicked on recent votes. I could not find HR 5818 or any 2008 bill that Dave Loebsack has voted on THIS year. In the 2006 election, Dave Loebsack talked about a more open government. What is Dave Loebsack hiding? Why can’t he not update his website? The link to his roll call on votes showed: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/index.asp. I beat the system by changing 2007 to 2008. I just do not understand how something like this has not changed for 132 daysr. I can see something like this happen for 20 or 30 days, but 132 days.
I want to know why Congressman Dave Loebsack is hiding his 2008 voting record directly from the Second Congressional District. What is Dave Loebsack trying to hide? Maybe the fact that he votes directly by what the lobbyist tell him. Or maybe he is just too worried that he will not be able to be relected.
Also, check out his votes at http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/index.asp, he seems to be voting PRESENT a lot.
I cannot understand why Dave Loebsack would vote present on HR 5818. He was only one of eight people that did so. HR 5818 passed 239-188 just to let you know.
Whatever it may be I want answers and the people of the Second District of Iowa want answers. What is your answer Dave?
